Default New 09 Tahoe LT...loose feeling steering?

My wife and I just got a 09 tahoe LT. We have had it maybe a week but the steering just isn't feeling right to me. It's almost too easy to steer. Like when I am in turns and hit a bump or something I feel like I could easily turn into oncoming traffic just by my arm shaking. What can I look for such too easy steering and sloppiness? The truck seems really bouncy over bumps and stuff too...it could be the cloth seats and not use to seats not being as firm for the spongelike feeling....but for the steering, it irks me. My wife got this to drive cause it has more room for our little few month old baby. I worry about them driving it now just because the couple times I have drove it, it feels almost too easy to steer.

Also, when turning sharp into driveways or parking spots etc, there is a noise coming from inside the dash (I think) that sounds like a rubber squeaking sound like rubber rubbing on rubber.

this is the wheel noise (found a youtube of similar), but I dont think it has anything to do with the feel of it.
