Default Need tire size help Please

I have a 01 silverado lowered approx 3/5 with 18"x8" cadillac wheels. Currently Im running little low 255/45r18 all the way around and i HATE it.

I admit it my truck looks stupid!

It looks dumb(lowrider), the tires dont fill the fender wells and it dont hook for **** under a 35 roll.

Im interested in running a staggered size. Wider in the back. Id like to keep the tire height about the same front to back so it doesnt look too funny. I will be driving the truck daily so tire life will matter but I want performance as well as I have a bolt on 6.0L and it eats tires. I want as much grip out back i can get without running a DR daily due to mixed weather and the shorter life of DRs. At the track I run 275/40R17 et streets...they hook good (1.82 60') but its almost not enough at the track and on the street they def arent. But ill have track tires to swap on for the track.

Im thinking a 295/45r18 out back maybe Nitto 555 or even the NT05. Found them for the same price

So yeah I want the "PERFECT" street tire... Any suggestions We dont really have aquality tire shop here so i cant really just go in and LOOK at different tires and pick out some that will look good and perform. Ill be buying online

here is my truck right now.
