that would be the easiest way to do it. unbolt the shift linkage arm, remove the two small bolts holding the PNSS to the trans and carefully pull it off. much easier than dealing with those plugs.

15 seconds of heat and they come right out with 0 effort.

but I too now just leave it connected.
