yep, you will have to do one of few things, buy factory lines from gm and adapt it to the new cooler or splice into the stock lines

what i would is this
on the upper line there is a rubber flex part on it. if you take time to cut it and remove the two metal crimps they use. it is already flared/barbed. so if you take the time to do thisthen youll be set. you wont be cuttign anything but the rubber flex line. and if you ever wanted to go back to stock then you could simply put a rubber flex in between the same spot you jus took apart.
split it and then remove the crimps...they are a PITA but its worht it. i did this for the first time on my truck but then decided to by pass the rad. but once you undo the crimps and run your hose to the barb'd lines you should be set
