Im having the hardest time finding shocks for my truck.


Its a 06' ECSB 1/2ton 2wd with the torsion bar front end, but its NOT an HD. It came with the factory GM 20in wheels, and apparently, they have worn the stock shocks out at 56k miles.

From everything I can gather, I should run the same shocks as a Z-71, yes?

The truck is beating me and my family to death. Louisiana roads are not helping. In the last 10k miles, its really gotten bad.

I dont need anything performance oriented AT ALL. I want a smooth ride, and nothing more. I haul a quad from time to time, and pull a small trailer, but its not a work truck. Also, I have a 2in shackle drop on the rear, but I think im going to put the stock hangers back on.

I was dead set on Bilstiens COMFORT series, but, alas, they dont make a comfort series for my truck.



Any other suggestions out there?

I dont need to drop $400 on them either.
