need help, plugs for radiator (trans lines)

sounds ghetto to me, i wouldn't do it. why, just for the look of braided stainless? those lines are made for water. im not sure of the properties of that nylon tubing but i don't think they will hold up to the hot hydraulic fluid, and if a hose pops off that's no pressure back to the trans and failure is quick to follow.

any suggest as to how to connect the ends? Best I could come up with was the hydraulic hose with clamps...but again, kinda ghetto.
