that's prolly what i'll have to end up doing. the tallest dr's i've seen are the m & h that are 28" tall.

 

I just ordered these M&H Racemaster radial Drag race tires 275/50/17 they are 28'' tall 8.8 tread width and will be installed on Mickey Thompson Classic ll 17x9 rims. Thay are DOT certified tubeless drag radials and give you the versatility to go from the road to the track. Hopefully no more

 

let me know how they hook up on the street when you get em. might have to invest in some of these.

 

And Im sure you could pick up a set of stocker 17s pretty cheap too.

 

You got it Blue. According to scream traction was not a prob and he was runnin alot of air pressure.

 

Im sure you can though they recomend useing a 9'' rim even though scream isnt I try to do things by the book not knocking any ones set up.

 

i saw they had some for the 16" wheel also. it wouldn't be a problem to run them on stock wheels b/c i run some 26x11.5 et streets on stock rims.

 

Yea they do have them for 16s I want to keep my stock 16'' wheels for winter. The only reason I went 17 is I couldnt find a light weight wheel with a 5'' Backset. I know Im a picky somebitch.

 

Cajun, you need to ease into the throttle. LOL
I have the 4 linked rear and still don't hook but,
I'm swapping out the rear springs and this should
get rid of my problem. You can read about it

i do ease on to the throttle sport, lol. i've been checking out your set up and it's quite nice. just needs to be tweeked.
