Well tonight I fried my 6th (I think) 60e . With my old tci 3000 I went 13.7. I want 12.99 on motor, and I added LT's. What tranny, stall combo do I need, and I am completely tired of dropping these heavy *** 4wd trannys.

Its a 2000 Z71 with a cammed (223/226) LQ4, E fans, and HPtuners, just put the LT's on last night. I would like something with a warranty, cause all these failures have been since October. (a couple were due to me)

Im thinking FLP stage??? 4l65e anda Yank 3000, or possibly 3200, or maybe a Fuddle. Remember it is a 4wd, and I do use it. But right now Im actually considering putting a 2wd tranny in, and dropping the front diff.

Ive also thought about the 80 swap, but not sure what alll is entaled in this. Thanks for the help

 

You know what most are gonna tell ya...go with an 80e.

I have my 60e, freshly built, gathering cobwebs in my shed I'll sell ya 900 bucks shipped. I'll get my trans builder to build you a receipt for the build. Very reputable local builder for me (locally).I lost 2 pumps and one sun in it. It has all new parts, HD'ed.

 

80e like I told you in the PM. I have given up on the shitty design. The only way I would even think about it honestly would be to get the level 5 from FLT. Fuddle converter all the way.

 

Thats exactly what I will be doing FLT level 5 with a Fuddle hp series Converter.
