Recently bought a 2004 RCSB 2WD. It came with 33" tires (285/75/16), which I had switched out today to a 30" tire (255/60/18's). It def. helped with ride and handling, but I think the truck sits too high still. I measured it and it's 36 1/2" off the ground at the edge of the fender well above the front tire- Rear is 1/4 less, and that's due to the weight of the 4 tires in the bed.
Can anyone tell me what the stock height should be?
I looked at the suspension, and it looks stock, but that height seems high for a stock 2WD truck.

check the body mounts, if they are about 4"s or so tall then you have a 3" body lift installed on it. also look at the rear springs to see if there are blocks under the leaf pack

Maybe I'm not as lost as I tought-I noticed blocks under the rear springs when I was changing out the exhaust. Those look easy to get out, now for the front. Could it be the coils are bigger???

honestly Im not familiar with the 2wd front suspension, some have torsion bars, some dont. so see if anyone else on here can help you out with that, if you do have torsion bars then crank them back down and go get it aligned again

Front looks stock from what I can see. May be a spindle lift. If you can get some pics of the spindle (set camera near frame) I will do the same on mine, also will get you some numbers on height.

Here are some pics of my front spindles. To the center of the hub from top of ball joint is 4 and 3 quarters of an inch. Front height from ground to fender is 31 and a half inch rear is 34 inches. Hope this helps if you need anything else feel free to ask. ![Cheers!!](https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)
