Im starting to hear mysterious clicking soundz from my rearend on my 04 avalanche.
It clicks while im driving. It clicks more under acceleration.
I replaced the gear oil back when I hit 100k miles
I have 127k miles now

Does anyone have any idea what is causing the noise?

 

Exhaust leak...

 

Na i dont think it is an exhuast leak. It click when it is parked and idling
Could it be the u-joints?

 

You probably need new muffler bearings. Those cause similar noises when they fail.
