No, I meant what I said, did you bypass the RADIATOR? Most came with two coolers from the factory, one located in the RADIATOR, and one located in front of the condensor. If you hook your tru-cool in-line with the radiator it will still get up to operating temp but still won't overheat.

Using the radiator also allows the trans fluid to warm up quicker in the winter months.

I agree going infront of the radiator is better since it cools better and thats what your wanting to do. but That would be troublesome when installing an inner cooler as well. Pretty sure they'll both fit with some proper placement.

I'll vouch for trans temps being TOO cold=badness. I buggered many an expensive 200R4 driving in the winter months with the stock radiator cooler. And 100 bucks on a turbo'ed Esky is a fart in the wind... Looks good, I like it.

what we did was cut the stock cooler lines and plugged the new tranny cooler into them, thats all we did.

Yeah, but what everyone is talking about is that the lines go into the radiator tank first then to the stock front mount second.

in that case, no we did not bypass the radiator.
