Most important mods to 06 4L65E 4x4 for 500+rwhp?
#21
Well im going to try the 65 for a while, I know its not best but I gotta try so ill build it up right and ill kill some power for now and swap to the 80 later when I can afford it, anybody know why my 06 65e is different than earlier models?

Hughes has a pretty complete rebuild kit for about $700 with all the good frictions/bands/steels... Hard parts will have to be sourced elsewhere most likely. For roughly $1500 you should be able to buy what you need (minus converter) but for that $$$$$$ I'd be looking into an 80E as I've said before.
