Monster Transmission...

Just looking for some opinions here. Anyone have any type of experience with them? Im pretty much dead set on a Performabuilt but they are about 30 minutes from me so no shipping worries if I had a problem and they have the 3 year warranty (2 year for PB). Warranty is a big deal for me as its my only/ bread and butter/ driven a lot of mileage truck. Im not looking to hit 13/12/11s or even much more power than I have now, but more for reliability.

if warrenty is what you want then i say Monster, but if you want something that you know will hold up through all the torture someone else has put it through...i say PB lvl 2.
Skeet is still on his and running 10.8s (if im wrong im sorry skeet)
Truckshop has one and is 420rwhp through 20s and runs it every chance he gets

I just installed my PB LVL2 and its a great trans. Plus if you buy a TC from them in two years you can send the trans back to them and for $900 they will refresh the trans and send it back to you with another 2 yr unlimited mileage drive it/race it/tow it warranty. Just install the cooler they send you and your good! If your not looking to go much faster I would even look into their LVL1. Still good to 500hp and shifts a little firmer than stock during normal driving. You can tell that the LVL 2 is performance based.

a 3 year warranty is still annoying when you have to pull a transmission 5 times in 3 years. i dont know anything about monster, but atleast we know the history of performabuilt.
didnt tommy boy say that he can stamp a guarantee on a box of ****? in the end it guarantees its a box of ****. lol.

I had a converter from Monster, I think it was caused my stock tranny to go out. It wasn't anything like PB's converter, and I have no Zero issues with my PB lvl 2! It was night and day with this thing. I vote for Performabuilt!

Looks like Performabuilt it is! What kind of cooler do they send you? I was going to buy the 40k when I did the trans swap.
