Default Messed up my tranny this morning..

I have a 2000 silverado with the 5.3. I took off from a stop and wham, it started clunking and I only had low and 2nd at lower speeds. I will take a corner without being on the gas and it clunks. I am going to start pulling it today so I can try to fix it, but I have never done a transmission before.. Are there any instructions online somwhere and what do you think actually broke??? I do want this tranny to hold up to a little bit of power since I have headers, cai, tb spacer and I am supposed to pick up an ls1 intake with everthing this afternoon.. Advice and directions needed...

your trans wont hold up to the power the tb spacer makes...sounds like rear end problems with when you turn it clunks..if you dont know anything about transmission, have some one else do it for you..

I noticed when I just saw the thread not where I posted it..lol I worked all night long so i have an excuse..

I didnt think rear end because of not having 3rd or drive from a stop but had them when I was on the highway..I will jack it up here in a min. and get a better idea..
