are you refering to their kit thats hangers and shackles or shackles and leafs? with the hangers youll have to drill out the factory rivets, or use a grinder, or air chizzle or cutting torch, whatever you feel most comfortable using. i suggest taking the bed off if your going to do the hangers though. other than that simple wrenches and socket set is all youll need. good luck

I use the kit on my 01, spindles/shackles/hangers and love the ride. Get good shocks and cut the bump stops down though

That's what I got. McG's 2" spindles 33004 and 33035 hanger/shackle kit and 33003 c-notch. 4 Belltech drop shocks. Drives beautiful. After you have settled on your ride height get a good pro. allignment. Remember too about "Chevy lean" ur left side tends to sit a little lower, maybe 1/2" cuz of fuel tank and driver. Might need to dump ur exhaust pipes w turndowns too just FYI. Removal of the bed and is a must. Bumpstop trim and removal also is a must.

you'll get mixed answers on that. If you're gonna do the drop labor yourself I'd say don't bother. Since I worked with a friend in his shop with his tools and experience we just did it. It's not necessary.

When my old truck was at 2/4 it was just fine with no notch, and I hauled engines and tool boxes around all the time in it. Any lower and it becomes necessary though.
