I don't think those will work, they use an allen styled key depression on top of the lug.

You need something more like this.

Check out http://www.mcgard.com. That's the brand lug nuts that I use with my Coddingtons. I have the spline drives like the image above.

What application do you need lug nuts for? That will help determine what type you need too.

Here's a cool reference chart.

They also have a product application search as well.

Do they have an exposed lug or a center cap that covers the lugs? You'll need a tall acorn or spline drive because as you probably already know, the truck studs are pretty tall, almost 2" actually.

exposed lugs. Not sure what my stud measurement would be after the wheel is mounted (i.e. from bottom of the seating surface to the end of the wheel stud); whats it like on your Boyds? If there is 2", then the tuner style will be out of the question.

I'm using spline drive lugs like the picture above with the Boyds. The lugs themselves measure almost 2". I'm pretty sure that the tuner lugs won't work for you. You don't want to get something to short. You might think you're tightening against the wheel but actually bottoming out on the stud. Not safe and not good for a nice shiny wheel.

I would need 2 1/4" long tuner lugs 14mm x 1.50, I wonder if they exist?

otherwise I'll have to use spline drives or similiar

No, you would just need something about 2". You'll get that extra headroom inside the lug when the wheel is mounted. I wish my lugs had a part number on them so I could give it to you and I threw out the box a long time ago.

That's cool, I'll make a project out of it

Let me know if you need anything else. I'm sure others will chime in also.
