Default Lowering? Control Arms or Shocks?

What do you guys think about Lower control arms vs. springs for lowering? 3" in front.

I have a torsion IFS but I'd think the LCA's would keep the ride more like stock...= better?

LCAs will ride more like stock since the factory spring is retained. The springs will ride stiffer. Some complain that they have increased bumpsteer with LCAs, but I don't notice it to be an issue with my 4" LCAs. I personally don't have any problems with my LCAs, but most on here will probably suggest 2" spindles and a 1" spring.
