Default low fluid in TC?

what kind of sound does a TC make if its low on fluid? i swear i have a swishing sound coming from somewhere underneath the truck... not like a dishwasher swishing, but more like a constant ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... when under load.

and the gears dont seem to be hooking up as hard/quick as they should be... im about ready to buy a built tranny from JAG. this **** is getting damn rediculous.

Any exhaust leaks? Check that first!

Where are you feeling this vibrating? In the floor boards? We might have to go for a ride so I can hang my head out of the window again.

well i checked it cold even, and it seems pretty high. color looks fine. i have noticed constant residual fluid on the underside of the tranny near the base of the bellhousing.
