Wagner and Delco ceramics both have good reps for low dusting qualities. The Delco pads are actually made by different suppliers and packaged in Delco boxes...they change contracts every so often, but seem to have been pretty consistent over the past few years.

Performance oriented pads will naturally create more dust, but usually provide improved braking. I've been using Praise Dyno cryogenically treated pads (along with their cryogenically treated slotted rotors) front and rear for the past few years, and have noticed an improvement in my braking performance with very little dust. I would say that the dust is comparable, maybe slightly increased, in comparison to the pads that came on my truck from the factory, which, to the best of my knowledge, were ceramic.

One of my co-workers swears by the EBC green stuff, but this is on his Toyota and Porsche...he has no experience with them on GM vehicles.

the Wagner's I have are on PowerSlot rotors, F&R...
originally with the PS's I had Hawk Performance pads...they worked great, wore well but more dust than factory ceramics...
Wagner TQ ceramics have worn just as well, performed just as well and produced way less dust...
and I could go on an on about how pleased I've been with the PowerSlots...they're just awesome...

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I might try Praise Dyno pads but don't see them listed on their website for my application. Do I have to call them to get pads for my truck?

I did too...at first. Then I purchased a set of Hawk pads, then EBC Green....and I can assure you.....I will not give a handful of lint for any of them. They suck in my book.

I'm pretty loyal to the Carquest/reybestos BCD 785 pads
