Default Look at my shaft!!

What do you guys think happened to my pinion shaft...??? I haven't noticed anything to be malfunctioned. I'm just in the rear-end for a gear swap. My crew cab 2006 came with 3.23s. Lol, wtf were they thinking?

Our 03 shop truck with 4.10's looked that after 175k miles, actually it was worse looking.

It would clunk around inside there and twist and pop sometimes, we thought it might explode when were plowing with it but never did lol. Swapped it for a eaton locker and all is good.

Well this thing only has 40k miles on it though? Only one side looks like that.. I'm putting 4.56s in it with the factory g80.. I don't really wanna buy a locker at this time... Hopefully it last awhile
