Well in that case i work wayyy too much. even got hit in the face by a peice of pipe that still had the burrs on it from the chop saw..

Once i learn all the lil secrets of these things, id be willing to build some sets on a very low budget. IF i dont have any problems with mine that is.

Make sure to take some good notes. I think that's going to be my first project after Christmas with my new welding machine.

Finally got mine on Monday night in a rush.. was hoping to go to the track Tuesday but it decided to rain..

here they are.. unpainted and everything.

When i get home im goin to hit them with the wire wheel and put some good ole nice flat black on them.

They are almost perfectly parallel with the ground

Those look good buddy!!!! I believe I'm gonna have some issues with them being too low.... Maybe an inch or so shorter tabs front and rear to raise the whole thing??? I'm not sure what kind of geometry you've got figured into it to come up with your length but I don't see how shorter tabs would hurt anything... Maybe just shorter on the front?

I just guessed at the height of the front tabs.. they came out perfect..
I have another idea that can be easly made.

1" shorter can be done easily. this was just a thrown together setup to test out.. Nothing a die grinder cant take care of

Were gonna have to make them tighter to the frame for me... Looks like about an inch and a half or so... Just judging by those pics
