Im trying to get my truck to pull a G. Im going to do it with leafs.
There are seven different types of rear suspension and the thing is not a one of them has a clear advantage over the others. Some do it easyer but all of them can be tuned to react to how ever you need.

I'm using KP components, bolt in 4 link kit with QA1 coil-overs. I cut a 1.7 60' on a 75 shot w/ bolts, using 3.73s and the stock G80... With the help of Mickey Thompson, ET street radials. No adjustments have really been made. I put the shocks at about 4-5 clicks, and it hooks. On my all-motor passes, I can not get it to spin what-so-ever. Limited to 1.8, 1.9 60s... Wont go any quicker.

I don't think that these look bad...and they hook really well. 275/55-16" M&H Racemaster DR's.
Definitely a good amount of sidewall, which is why I chose them.

1.73 short time w/ Cal Tracs and worn out Bell Tech Nitro Drop shocks.

me too! I was looking at air ride's website and they got there mustang to hit 1.48 60ft and ran 12 something. On an air bagged 4link. I thought that was impressive. I also was thinking of how much weight you could save. The rear springs are atleast 75lbs each. I know you don't want to take weight off the rear, you should take weight off the front. But any weight savings will help your trap speed. I figure if you get adjustable shocks front and rear. (qa1's or something) you could shift the weight to the rear pretty good.
