You need to go rent a spring compressor, that way you can get everything bolted up and let the spring expand strait.
EDIT also I slid it in from the back and didnt mess with the balljoints

I've got several different types of compressors. I normally don't ever need it, Ill try putting it in from the backside. I always go thru the front and it works... I guess a longer spring needs a different approach

Yea the chevys are so low from the factory that just adding the 2" spacer makes them pretty much impossible to go back in without compressing the spring...(found out half way through) I've seen a dodge truck put the spacer on, spring slid right in and jacked up...

I dont know what I was doing wrong Friday night. Maybe the fact that it was 2-3am LOL... I had the front and rear both done in an hour and a half after work yesterday

Im lookin to lift up my front end on my white silvy with coil spacers soon, whats the easiest way to get them in, Im probally going to go with the aluminum 2" suspension max spacers, any help would be appreciated. Ive never messed with springs...
