If you have it in 4auto, when the rear tires slip the front engages and your rear tires are already spinning and the t-case is taking all the pressure of trying to equalize the axle speed between the front and rear. Also auto4wd keeps the front hubs engaged anyway so whatever you think you are picking up is in your head IMO.

JFWYall. If you launch in 4wd, use 4 hi. I know I ran 14.2 in 4 hi with 31" tires spinning all 4, and 13.7 in 2wd, but I had smaller stickier tires in the back. I cant confirm or deny if there is a difference between running in 2 or 4wd, but if I can hook I run in 2wd. Thats just personal though.
BTW slow you aint puttin down no power, you dont know what power is.

well thanks for clearing that up Slow....
I figured it was ok cosidering our t-cases are good for 5555 ft/lbs of tq....
But now that you say that I'll make sure I am it 4hi EVERY time. I usually put it in auto when I race from stop lights, not at the track.
