Default I need one more inch....

No it's not what youre thinking, lol.

I've got an 04 Silverado reg cab, lowered 3" front (coil springs)
4" rear shackles/hangers and a c-notch.

I need one more inch in the rear for it to sit like I want. Doesnt look back now, has a cool little rake, but one more inch would better. What can I do to gain an additional inch with what I have now. I've though about removing the overload, I never haul anything more that 100lbs.

Any thoughts, I've seen the Bell Tech 3 inch shackles but Ive never talked to anyone thats actually used em, I know they are for 3/4 ton trucks and would take a little cutting to get em to clear the bottom of the bed.

Opinions on removing the overload, this is a V6 truck.

Thanks in advance.

Take it out, it should give you that inch you want, mine has no overload and it rides fine

Remove the overload, that's 3/4" and should get you where you like. You'd probably never engage it anyway.

I'm with the other 3 remove it...should ride good with c-notch. I have the same kit with-out the notch...mine just bottoms out on the stops when there's a load in the bed.

In mine the notch was a have-to, it hit the bump stops constantly, causing ugly looks from wife. I think I'll yank the overloads out. I'll have to have someone do as I dont have the tools or the place to do its. Whats a fair price to pay someone?
