i think i need a reward. becasue i have the only transmission that i know that started slipping becasue of an intake and exhuast.....
i hope im just dreaming but my dad drove it around the other day and told me that i should have it looked at. but i never really noticed it except for today..

intake AND exhaust? People have accomplished that feat with no extra mods at all.

 

45k miles and no i didnt oil the air filter it came pre oiled. and i feel for that person that blew up there tranny on a stock truck. i would be pissed. but idk. i may just have the "omg i changed something and now this happens" attitude but i may have it checked out before i get a tune... that might just do it in...... that extra 10 hp...

 

I just rebuilt my tranny last week, and i don't consider a magnaflow or a ghey TB spacer a mod.

I had a check ball stuck in the seperator plate, and it was burning clutches up.

 

I bet i can blow a trans on a new truck in a day. I think alot of us could. Do we get a gold star then? JF with ya.

 

ECM will set a code and turn on check engine light if it detects trans slip. I think it takes a couple of warmup cycles though.
