I was thinking about getting some but i'm not so sure i want my truck to sit 2 inches higher...So i'd like to know if thats normal as well.

no that is not normal....id say someone fucked up ur install...clatracs fit and work awesome...like factory...without the wheel hop!

I'll take pics of the install but I don't think that they are installed wrong because I helped put them on and nothing was rigged. The truck can be lowered by loosening the bars but when they are set up touching the spring plus 1/4 turn it sits higher. Another thing that might have caused a little difference is that I had spring clamps and I took them off during the caltracs install. I'm going to the track next week and I'll post up the difference they made.

I have read this happening before, I guess when you load'em up it will push on the leaf, no big deal I have a 4" leaf pack drop. going to order a set this week

Ahh dont mind the brown paper fibers on them, they are all nicely coated with black paint!
