wow! and i thought i was the only stupid idiot to put it in reverse by accident!

happend to me about 2 years ago. i was rolling thru crystal river, coming home from a little cruise-in. revved at a awesome looking 62 ss impala. threw it back into (d) i thought. slipped, went into (r) and tires locked up, truck shut off. rolled it into a gas station, started it back up, drove home. 188.xxx miles, it's still kickin strong!

by the way, it is the original tranny.
