I cant make up my mind, im going back and fourth between what trans i want to run. the truck isnt going to be a daily driver, just a weekend warrior kind of deal. the truck will putting down 700+ horse at the wheels. and i wanna leave on a t-brake!! i can get a pretty good deal on both trannies but just dont which one i want to use.

 

my opinion, if you don't need overdrive i'd run the turbo 400 it will be lighter and cheaper to build.

 

Taking on the highway at all?

 

4l80e has been good to me at over 800hp but when it goes out again I may do the 400 just cause its stronger and I'll probably throw more power to it later.

 

th400 gets my vote.... i turn 2700 rpms at 70 mph with mine :]
