Back to 4wd launching I go....I did it a few times awhile ago but figured my days would be numbered if I continued. Glad to hear it can take the abuse.

I ran N/A for a year with the cam and bolt-ons in the low 14s and never had an issue. I beat the hell out of it launching after the turbo install and it never even whimpered. The only issue is in high TQ applicaitons (600+ft.lbs.) you will have to crank the torsion bars down a bit when racing because the front end will come up off the ground things start gettin hyphy real quick.

I am now doing a swap on the Z71 to an 80E and HD T-Case so I 'll never know the stock limits to the 1500 T-Case.

In high TQ combos you have to use 4HI.. Auto 4WD makes weird noises and shudders ALOT once you start making serious HP and a big stall.

Do you see any problem with shifting out of 4wd as soon as I start moving? I don't wanna run in 4 hi all the way up into the 90's.

Nope. I used to shift out of 4wd once I started moving and it was fine. After the turbo though it wouldn't shift out so I run 4wd through the whole 1/4.
