How low can I go
#11
So while I wait to save up funds on the whole bag system I want, I went ahead and ordered a set of Caltracs for my HD, a set of throw down wheels for the rear with a sticky set of MT ET's Street. Should have it all on the truck by Friday afternoon just in time to go race Friday night at Royal Purple.

the problem with the your truck is the long wheelbase and hd suspension is its stiff. it wont transfer weight. take the overload spring out of the leaf pack at a minimum. the caltracs can be finicky with prelaod. from my experience, i started with 1 full turn of preload on the bars. i cut my best 60' with 28/11.50 et streets @ 20psi, leaf spring with overload removed and 1.5 turns of preload on the caltracs. this was in a single cab truck though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Gives me a starting point. Eventually all springs and shocks with be replaced with complete RideTech air ride system or the like.. Caltracks are the do fer.
