Hotchkiss rear sway bar install ?
#1
Did anyone have to drill into the frame? According to the instructions, I'm missing a mounting hole on each side for one of their brackets.

I've got the Sport Sway bar set on an '01 Z71 RCSB, and yes, I did have to drill the frame for the rear bracket mounts . . . all four holes had to be drilled if I remember correctly. Piece of advice . . . make sure the drill bit is sharp! I had to re-sharpen mine between the 2nd and 3rd hole, but I was using a cheap bit.

Just read the article linked above . . . I managed to install mine without dropping the fuel tank. Used a hole in the side of the frame to work the bracket through and into the frame rail, and used a loop of string to help me position the bracket in the holes I'd just drilled.

Thanks, but I've already installed it. I didn't drop the tank, I used some mechanics wire to bring the bracket through. In case anyone was wondering, the rear swaybar does clear a T/A girdle.
