I've seen just as many 80E input shafts break as 60's... I wont have a need for this heavy slug of a transmission anymore, a drag race is a sprint, I need a sprinter, not a shotput chunker

With locking the converter in 3rd you achieve a true 1:1 ratio. Its not like in the lower gears where the multiplication is needed. Manuals dont need the multiplication and autos dont need it either. Your multiplication comes from your final ratio. You dont want slip in NA, Youll ET and MPH better with it locked

Lock it right after the shift extension recovers and youll see noticable differences. Can do this with lower power to if the gearing is correct to put the vehicle thru the traps in the correct powerband
