Is anyone hitting OD at wot? Will it kill the trans? Im running around 5800RPM in Drive un locked at the end of the 1/4 mile. I have 30" tires, and 3.73 gears. Im going to be running 28" slicks at the track, and RPM will be over 6K in drive. My peak power is at 4600RPM, and power dropps off bad after 5500RPM. I thought I could lock up the converter, but it won't hold under WOT so that's out. Can I hit OD at the end of the 1/4 without killing the trans? Thanks J

I guess it's a POS. It will lock up but it slipps like 3-400RPM when locked, under wot. I sure wish I could run the truck locked though, it will hit 17PSI like that and pulls alot harder. I only get 15PSI with the verter un locked. I shift at 5400RPM and it only dropps to 5000RPM un locked. When locked it dropps to 4200RPM which is alot better, but it should drop to 3800RPM locked with a 5400RPM **** point when locked. Yank told me not to lock it under WOT. A precision multie disk is in my future, I don't want to kill my trans before that though.
