Default Help w/ 2nd accumulator springs

Between my vette servo and hd-2 kit, the 1-2 shift knocks your teeth out at WOT, even with NO spacers installed. So I pulled the pan to set the accumulator back to stock, until i realized i forgot what it originally looked like.

I have the original and transgo springs, I want to either set it back to original, or set it up to be a little softer if anyone has a 2nd opinion on the arrangement. I'm just really hoping someone remembers how they are factory.

I know the piston is flipped back over to be factory, I have the blue and orange springs that are installed per transgo instructions, plus another spring that is the same strength as the blue one but about twice as long(no color left). I have all the original springs, but the others I believe are from 4th accumulator, etc.

Tremendous thanks in advance.

Is that circle in the valve body where the 1-2 plastic accumulator piston is?

Ky, I worship you like you don't even know.

I have the light blue spring that appears was under the piston, and the green one is the one I have with no color left. It also looks like there's a yellow smaller spring in the center of it, I have a white one that's hard as a brick. I think I'll chuck a spacer under the blue spring so that its a little stronger than stock.

I wish I was smart enough to take more pics than i do, I'm always too messy and in a hurry. Thanks again, I was afraid this might turn into a big fiasco.

if you have a tune, . . . be sure that your tuner has the line pressure back to "stock" pressure

The 2nd accumulator is really easy to get to. When you pull the pan, there's 3 10mm bolts right there holding on the cover that you see in KY's second pic. Memory fades on the other piston. It's basic stuff, just really, really f**king messy and not any fun to be laying under it. I still have the plastic piston, not showing any wear, but have thought of changing it.

I have a Nelson tune, but the pressure's set to stock. I actually did the kit before the tune, so I know its just set up that way.

You are welcome. Glad it helped. I do nothing without taking pictures first. I have hundreds from all my mods.
