today i was getting on the highway and was in third gear, behind a slow driver so i switched lanes and proceeded until redline which was at 5500 or 6000 rpm and at 90-95mph when the tranny light came on blinked several times and shut off never came back on again, has never done this before, the truck is a 2005 silverado 4.3l v6 with a 5 speed has about 53000 miles,
can anyone help me as to why the light would come on, i guess to prevent this from happening again be easy with the tranny, but not still not sure why it would come on regularly change fluids and routine upkeep with vehicle, any help would be greatly appreciated. truck drives fine and all gears work so not sure what the problem is
