Yeah, definatley keep it where there's no vibration on the street. But when you get to the track adjust it negative like Quik said. Usually -2 to -4.

Why would he need to adjust pinion angle like that? Shouldn't it be adjusted with angled shims in between the axle housing and the leafs?

At the track, because everything is under hard acceleration and hopefully you're hooking up, things tend to deflect and more. Your're basically optmizing your rear suspension specifically for acceleration. Keeping this angle on the street at highway speeds might cuase vibration though.

So, when accelerating down the track, the pinion wants to climb the ring gear, right?

By setting the pinion angle 2* down or so, it evens out all the way down the track.

And when going home, you set the pinion angle back neutral for a vibration free trip home?

I am very happy with it. It acts completely transparent when cruising the truck around. Solid as a rock when you punch it. I think everyone would benefit from a design like this, except it is custom based on the location of crossmemebers and many hours involved to build it in my garage. I probably spent 20 hours building it for my truck.
