Hardened output shaft?

anyone have any first hand experience with one of these hardened output shafts.

damn, man i'm glad I decided to save for my tranny before i cammed and put heads on my truck. sorry but i still love you truck.

thanks man.

well i hope it holds. i ordered the hardened output shaft today from FLT. but i couldnt afford the billet one. i also ordered a complete input drum shaft assembly thats been hardened also, along with a beast shell, kevlar band, z pack 3-4 clutch pack kit, a new front planetary because it got screwed up by debris from the output shaft, and an upgraded sprag. that was about $700 in parts. this bastard better hold for a while!!!

what level tranny does he have? the level five comes with the billet shaft, all the rest come with the hardened shaft.

The cryo shaft comes in the level 5 units. The billet shaft is an upgrade at this point. The others get a stock shaft. We are working on making the level 5 builds with some new goodies!

i have a hardned output shaft and a cryoed flt input and drum in my broke tranny...something else broke inside...not these parts but i did not tear it down to see what broke...
