Ok probably a stupid question,but what does this vette servo do for our trans.Is it like putting a shift kit in a older th350-400?
Sorry for the throwback to the good ole days,Im used to carbetators and shift kits.

helps the band by giving it more holding power. It applies more pressure to the band which gives a better shift without lag and firms it up a bit while holding alittle more performance

Ok,I just went to Circle D's website and you got to be kidding me!!! its only 15 bucks.Am I gonna notice a big difference when I put this in,or is it basically a preventative maintenance thing.

yeah they aren't expensive. Not sure on the difference, should just make the shift been alittle more firm but have alittle more character i guess you would say. I won't have mine in until next tuesday

The change is very noticeable. The shifts are much firmer. I'm a lot more careful about how I drive now when the road is wet too.

/\sweet!!!The servo that Circle D is selling is the same on that everyone is talking about right?where would I find info on installing the servo?Dont need to r/r the trans to put servo in do I?Sorry for all the newb ?
