Default Goin' Low

My parts finally arrived. I am gonna be lowering my '12 Z71 RCSB as soon as we get my buddy's 77 Chevelle out the door.

Got a bunch of belltech stuff in the trunk of the wife's car. Not going to buy tires yet, winter is just around the corner, so I will see how low I can go on my 265/65/18's

Got spindles, struts, shackles and a flip kit...I am going to try 4/7...but may have to go 3/5 to clear the tires.

Pics to follow.

Done.

I am almost touching the bump stops in the rear...followed the instructions and put them in. So I will have to cut them or remove them all together.

I also get a vibration when I'm in Auto 4wd at about 95KM/H goes away at 110

I haven't gotten it aligned yet, but it doesn't vibrate in 2wd...I have even tried switching it in and out between 90 and 110..auto engaged vibration is there, 2wd and no vibration...also it only does it while I'm on the gas, light or hard...no difference. I used the spacers under the trans that came with the flip kit.

Any ideas or experience with this??

Other than that, the ride is nice and it handles awesome.

If you only feel the vibrations while in 4WD then I'd just have to guess it's with the front cv axles causing the problem.

I say that because when I lowered my car about 1.5in all around and it being FWD it made the cv axles be at a odd angle and threw the geometry off. I had to get motor mount spacers to raise them back up to stop all vibrations while on the throttle, it never had them while coasting or off the throttle.

Not really what I wanted to hear...LOL

Yeah I am thinking something along those lines...I'll get a pic of the axle angles in the morning...see whats up.

Thing is I'm not even sure if it had the same shimmy stock, and now I am being **** that I'm looking for defects. I'm also not sure if I have ever drove the truck at more than 80km/h in 4wd auto. Not like we get a lot of snow here. I have read of guys with this t-case having similar issues bone stock and just about every response was "why are you driving in 4wd at 60mph". Maybe I am paranoid. But hopefully someone has had this exact issue and has a fix.

If its angle I can pop a couple rings back in the struts and put lift shackles in the rear and go for 3/5 instead of 4/7...may fix things.

Thanks for the reply.
