Default Gears

I have been reading what everyone is putting in they trucks. It seems like 4.56 are the only way to go. But as a daily how is it? I was thinking a set of 410. I'm so new to the truck would/gm world it is unreal.

Man you need to take about a week and search for all these questions you have been asking lately. Its not that we dont want to help but when a new member comes in here and starts asking questions that could be answered with a search it does nothing to build the forum with new information.

And yes, if it is a daily or if you do a lot of highway driving, I would recommend 4.10's.

Ok cool. I'm just ready to do something's to my truck.

Then what builds a forum? I no it not just searching around till you find the answer, I think it is about people giving advise to people so their not making expensive mistakes.

Most likely something around stock. It's going to be my daily. Might pick up another set of tires so I can get some drag radials or slick.

If you would like to get a sense of what 4.56:1 gears will feel like on the highway, put it into third and drive around like that for a while.
