Default Gears

Does anbody know the part # for some 390 gears for an 2005 RCSB 2wd it has G80+323's. The reason why he wants to change gears is because 323's suck in the lower rpm's. so i need part #'s to order the gears from what ever store!

While youre in there get rid of the G80 for an Eaton or other after market posi so you dont have to do it twice.

nice choice, the 3.23's are only good for fuel milage or top speed runs.

the richmond part number is 49-0034-1 for 3.90 gear.

You could get OEM gears (made by AAM) in a 3.73 or 4.10. *Randys Ring and Pinion* I'm told they are better quality and quieter than most aftermarket brands. I put them in the Tahoe several moths ago with an Eaton, no problems at all.

that would be his best bet in a 4.10 gear. the AAM gears are very high quality and much quieter than running the richmond gear. the difference between running a 3.90 gear and a 4.10 gear is almost not noticable.
