ok i have a 99 4x4 tahoe (square body) with 3.42 gears and an open diff. i also have an 04 Z71 with 3.73 and the gov-lock. my question is i want to put 4.10 front and rear and an eaton posi so i will have an extra set of 3.73 and the gov-lock will the gears from the 04 fit/work in the obs tahoe??

pretty sure the gears will work between an 8.5" and 8.6" rearend. The diff will need different bearings pressed on it though for the 8.5" in the hoe.

And I have no clue about the front...
