Default gear noob needs help!

Hey I wanna get a new gear in my tahoe within this month and my tahoe is a 2wd w/ 3.42 rearend right now with 305/35/24 tires on it. What I want to know is what should I move up to like 4.10 or maybe even higher??? But im so new to this so I need any info you may have. This is what I need to know... what would be a good gear, where are some places that sells them, what is a good brand, do I just pic up a stock 4.10 rearend out of a HD and what all will I need for a complete limited slip rearend?

with tires that big on a vehicle that big id go 4.10's at the minimum. 4.56's are probably too much. maybe 4.30's from motive?
