Default GEAR ME, help please.

This is what i have come up with on what i have.. so please chime in..

2001 chevy sububran 2500 4x4..

front would be 9.25 Reverse cut IFS gear set?
Rear would be 10.5 and its a 14 bolt

Im assuming that because i have 3:73 stock gears that my gears will need to the "thick" ones..

What i want to do is 4:56 gears with a limited slip up front...
( Jegs has one listed Powertrax No-Slip Traction System Steel GM 9.25" IFS 33 Spline) If that will work..

Then in the rear a 4:56 gears and a locker...

Im running 35's on 16 inch wheel and truck is some where around 700 hp and god only knows on torque....

So those of you that know more than i do, does that sound correct on axle size... its also a 373 stock gear.

I would without a doubt contact Ron's Machining Service and tell him what you are doing. He will have the best prices, and is the most knowledgeable person on the subject.

+1 for Ron's, that's where I got gears, install kit, & Trutrac.

4.56 sounds good for your needs.

+ 1 more for Rons

FYI-A locked front IFS diff will not last long..You'll end up splitting the housing and tearing alot of drivetrain parts up

He didn't say a locker in the front, he said a limited slip.
