Default Full spool ???

Is anybody running a full spool. That still drives there truck on the road. Im not asking about anything else. Just curious if anybody is and what are your thoughts on it pros cons and so on. Also 3.73 should be a good all around gear right or just go 3.90. Truck rcsb lq4 soon to have th400 and stall is going to be 3600 to 4000. Any info or help is great. Thanks

I've got a mini spool in my truck.. If you try to take corners real slow you'll hear the tires kinda chatter on the road and do some weird stuff, but as long as you take the corners normal or a little faster you won't notice anything..

If you go with a full spool you'll need c-clip eliminations..

my brother has a full spool with 4.10s in his 92 and drives it on the street. the truck will want to "push" when you are turning and you will chirp the one tire.
I ran a full spool in my 84 Grand Prix and the inside of my tires would always wear a lot faster then the rest of the tire. With Bias ET streets the car was defanitly a hand full driving in the rain with the spool, the slightest turn would kick the back end out. I DD it for years with the spool.
I am sure it isn't for everyone but I didn't mind it

Keep in mind a TH400 doesn't have an overdrive. You will have high rpms at highway speeds with 3.73s I would wait on the 3.90s.

in normal, dry conditions its not a real big deal. when its wet is when it gets sketchy in a rcsb with a spool.
