Default Front/rear sway bar only

I was thinking about getting some F/R sway bars because I wouldn't mind if my truck handled a little better. My question is, since the only thing I want to get is sway bars (no lowering or shocks), is it even worth it? I did a search and only found out how well they performed with other suspension mods, I want to know how well they are by themselves.

I'm sure the rims and tires help it, but I will tell you it was well worth just with the stock setup. I woudn't hesitate to do it for one second. Negative is right though, wheels and tires help, but the swaybars alone made a huge difference before I got the wheels and tires on.

It is a huge improvement...just look at the difference in size of the bars v stock! I run 305's and together I can do full rotation highway ramps well north of 65mph now...If u do the full kit like the one done in GMHHP last yr with the SCSB 1500 Silverado u cud do autocross. Cheap upgrade and among the top 3 IMO. R/

I have the Hotchkis sways and they are the best mod so far. Daily driving is much better now... no nose dive when braking, no squatting when accelerating, very flat around town. When you get into the twisties under speed, it is night and day. Makes your vehicle much safer as well since it handles better and stops quicker. The day I put them on, I used my regular braking pressure out of habit and stopped about 20 feet shy of the intersection stop line... I was very impressed. Great investment IMHO.
