Default FLT Transmission

I got a 4L65 level 5 from FLT and tie wrapped to the housing was a black rubber grommet for the dipstick tube and an o-ring, It is for a 2wd. Does anyone know where the o-ring goes?

Look for a groove in the input shaft right before the stator shaft. There should be an o-ring there.

If the oring is about the size of a quarter it is for the speed sensor on a 2wd.

That o-ring is exactly the size of a quarter. I didn't change the old oneon the speed sensor, Think it will give me a problem?

You should be ok if it does not leak. We supply it in case you would like to change it.
