One one hand that sounds like a great idea and on the other is kind of creepy! You want to sleep with my transmission? I know they are sexy but come on man. Maybe buy a second one for a living room decoration or one for the garage so you have a drinking buddy. Believe it or not I have had guys store them in their living room until they were ready to install. Don't know about you but the old lady would not have in my house. LOL...I kept an LQ9 shortblock in my dining room for a few months...it's no wonder I'm getting divorced! I gotta admit that she was cool about my "hobby/lifestyle"...she knew that she married a gearhead (just didn't know how deep the addiction went )

My Level7 on the other hand, I will keep bolted right under my truck where it belongs, and eventually behind said LQ9

Ummm Tom, my trans is in the back of a NEMF hauler on it's way to my job, I'll have it today, and it's going in TOMORROW I don't want it to get dusty like all my LQ9 parts

When I turn the key tomorrow and cruise down the street....I've officially won

Only bummer is that I forgot to bring my camera to work, so I can't get any pics of it in the crate but Tom covered that anyway...you guy's will see it in the back of my Blazer, and bolted to my lame 5.3 that's dyin to be swapped out for a 6.0 (slowly but surely)
