SILVERADO11, I hope I'm going to love this set up! How soon til u get your FLT?
Im half way there money wise, its hard to say when i will have enough saved up. I could always throw it on a card but i really rather pay it all upfront converter and trans, Im guessing another 4-6 months wish i could have it right now! then i could crank the boost up and start working on all the performance stuff i want to do

I hate payin interest.
I try to abide by this...If I can't pay it off when statement is due, I'll wait til when I can. I project out a month, figure obligations, then go from there.

For most part I do, w/. very few times I end up paying interest. If I do, I have to justify it to myself. Like when something is on too good a sale to pass on, that incurring interest is cheaper than if i paid regular price in 1st place.
Some things rarely go on sale...

My luck, when I'm out of cash, there's a deal round every corner.

So what's the total cost on one of those beasts, to your doorstep, core included?

BTW, those are the normal prices, not sale. Click "more" for cores.

Funny Tommy Boy! BTW I forgot to mention I have one other trans to dyno today. Try not to get your computer screen dirty!

For those of you that noticed the oil pan on this trans is only a test pan. This trans will have a new one when shipped! Enjoy Vince

Tom the only factory pans with a drain plug will be used. GM stopped making them with the plug a few years back. The ones we use are what is available to us from GM or a deep TCI pan with a plug for an extra charge. Vince
